I move through the world as a creative explorer, following lines, color, texture, and instinct. My work lives between drawing, digital illustration, embroidery, and painting, shaped by materials that invite play and experimentation—acrylic and gouache, spray paint and watercolor, charcoal, pastels, markers, and thread. Each medium becomes a language for curiosity, spontaneity, and touch.
Creating, for me, is a way of listening inward. It is an intimate practice of noticing emotion as it moves through the body and allowing it to take form. I often begin with large, organic gestures—marks made before words—letting ntuition lead as inner landscapes unfold onto canvas or paper.
My work is deeply informed by human emotion, mental health, and the rhythms of the natural world. I am especially drawn to the spaces where creativity, fine arts, environmental connection, and emotional well-being intersect. These themes are woven into both my art and my life, shaped by my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist and an Environmental Program Director, where care—for people and for the planet—remains central.
Art is my form of self-care, a quiet refuge within a full and demanding life. It offers freedom, play, and permission to move slowly, to feel deeply, and to trust instinct. Through this practice, I explore anxiety, tenderness, and resilience—building a bridge between my inner world and the surface before me.
I am a Minnesota-based multidisciplinary artist and designer with a BFA in Fine Arts and double minors in Graphic Design and Art History from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
